Trellborg Type TRA Radial Oil Seals are seals with a completely rubber covered outer diameter and a single sealing lip. This type is not recommended for use in heavily polluted environments. Radial Oil Seals are also known as Rotary Shaft Seals, consisting of a rubber sealing lip, metal case and a spiraled tensioning spring Their function is to keep oil and grease within the system dirt and dust out.

Commercial Description:
A 75 durometer FKM with a standard steel case. Comes with a stainless steel spring. FKM is an elastomer material known especially for its non-flammability, low gas permeability and excellent resistance to ozone, weathering, and ageing. The operating temperatures of the fluorocarbon rubber range between -20 °C and +200 °C. FKM is also often used with mineral based oils and greases at high temperatures.
