A single-acting O-Ring energized rod seal for dynamic applications installed in closed grooves. The Turcon® Stepseal® operation ensures a controlled pressure gradient that minimizes fluid adherence to the cylinder bore during the stroke, and enables residual fluid film on the bore to be returned under the seal on the return stroke.
