Trelleborg Turcon® Variseal® W2 is a single-acting rod seal consisting of a U-shaped jacket and a corrosion-resistant Slantcoil® spring. The advantage of the seal lies in its low friction and relatively constant preloading force over a large deformation range. Suitable for reciprocating and light duty rotary movement, it is often interchangeable with an O-Ring and Back-up Ring.--Single-acting U-shaped PTFE based seal with a spring energizer.
